SSE Renewables is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural Yellow River Community Benefit Fund, created to deliver meaningful support to communities surrounding the Yellow River Wind Farm, outside Rhode, in County Offaly.

Communities across the south of Scotland are beginning the New Year on a positive note thanks to a fresh round of community funding from the region’s largest onshore wind farm, Clyde Wind Farm (Scotland) Ltd—a joint venture between SSE, Greencoat UK Wind Plc and GLIL Corporate Holdings Ltd.

SSE has completed the second phase of its Hydro Community Fund, further strengthening the positive impact already created through the initiative.

SSE has opened its £1 million fund to support communities across the Highlands, focusing on community-led housing and building long-term capacity in the community sector. Grants of over £30,000 will be available to help local groups advance their ambitions and address key needs in their area.
