Hadyard Hill

Through our Hadyard Hill Wind Farm, we make around £178,000 available from our Hadyard Hill Community Fund per year for community and charity projects. Over the fund's lifetime, we expect to invest £3.3 million in local projects.

Foundation Scotland administer this fund on our behalf. 

Project eligibility

The community fund can support projects which:

  • reduce poverty and disadvantage
  • improve the health of residents
  • promote care and support of vulnerable people
  • improve community safety
  • ensure easy access to employment opportunities
  • achieve parity with national educational attainment levels
  • promote a wide range of recreational, sporting and cultural activities
  • improve rural transport opportunities
  • improve rural business opportunities
  • promote environmental awareness and energy efficiency measures
  • building the capacity of community groups

Projects in the following community council areas can apply:

  • Barr
  • Dailly
  • Pinwherry and Pinmore

You don’t need to be a registered charity to apply, but your organisation must have a constitution (governing document or set of rules) and not be set up for individual profit.
