Our team in Greece consists of around 10 renewable energy professionals, led by Country Manager Thanos Kouremenos, whose local expertise is helping drive the successful development of our projects and support the growth of clean electricity generation across the country.

Thanos Kouremenos is our new Country Manager for Greece. With over 25 years of experience in the industrial energy sector, Mr. Kouremenos brings extensive expertise across thermal power, onshore and offshore wind, and photovoltaics. His career spans projects in more than seven countries, including Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Australia, the UK, Chile, and Brazil.
He has held key roles in development, engineering, construction, contract and claims negotiations, and supply chain management. His deep industry knowledge and international perspective position him well to lead our activities in the Greek market.

Με απόφαση της από 5.7.2024 Αυτόκλητης Έκτακτης Γενικής Συνέλευσης του Μετόχου της Εταιρείας αποφασίστηκε η αύξηση του μετοχικού κεφαλαίου της εταιρείας κατά δεκατρία εκατομμύρια εννιακόσιες χιλιάδες (13.900.000€) ΕΥΡΩ, καταβλητέα ολόκληρη σε μετρητά με την έκδοση δεκατριών εκατομμυρίων εννιακοσίων χιλιάδων (13.900.000€) νέων κοινών ονομαστικών μετοχών ονομαστικής αξίας ενός ευρώ (€ 1,00) εκάστη με τιμή διάθεσης ενός ευρώ (€ 1,00) και η ταυτόχρονη μείωση του μετοχικού κεφαλαίου της εταιρείας κατά δεκατρία εκατομμύρια ευρώ (13.000.000€) με την ακύρωση δεκατριών εκατομμυρίων κοινών ονομαστικών μετοχών ονομαστικής αξίας ενός ευρώ (€ 1,00) εκάστη με τιμή διάθεσης ενός ευρώ (€ 1,00). Επομένως το μετοχικό κεφάλαιο της εταιρείας ανέρχεται σε δύο εκατομμύρια οκτακόσιες ογδόντα τέσσερις χιλιάδες εξακόσια ευρώ (2.884.600 €) διαιρούμενο σε δύο εκατομμύρια οκτακόσιες ογδόντα τέσσερις χιλιάδες εξακόσιες (2.884.600) κοινές ονομαστικές μετοχές, ονομαστικής αξίας ενός (1,00 €) ΕΥΡΩ η κάθε μία.

Company Shareholding
Following a resolution passed at a Self-convened Extraordinary General Assembly held on 5 July 2024 of the Shareholders of SSE Renewables Hellas Mae (the "Company"), a wholly owned subsidiary of SSE plc, it is announced that the authorised share capital of the Company has increased from €1,984,600 (Euros) to €2,884,600 (Euros), divided into 2,884,600 nominal registered shares with a nominal value of one (1,00€) Euro each, by the issuance of 13,900,000 new common registered shares with a nominal value of one (1,00€) Euro each for a payment in cash of €13,900,000 (Euros), and the simultaneous cancellation of 13,000,000 common registered shares with a nominal value of one (1,00€) Euro each for a payment in cash of €13,000,000 (Euros), at a disposal price of one (1,00€) Euro each.
